The scholarship will provide funeral service or mortuary science pro- gram students with financial awards rang- ing from $500 to $2,500 per school year. “Since launching our Bogati Gives Back program in 2016, we’ve chosen groups and organizations of certain sig- nificance, like Veterans and local com- munity institutions. Beginning this year, we’re adding education to the list,” said Andrea Bogard LeBlanc. “We think it’s important to support those who are working hard, learning, and preparing for their careers, especially those who have a calling for a profession rooted in care and compassion like ours.” Applications are now being accepted for the inaugural Bogati Urn Company Scholarship award, which will be avail- able for the fall 2018 term. The deadline for consider- ation is July 31, 2018. To be eligible for consid- eration, applicants must be United States citizens who have already com- pleted one or more terms of study in funeral service or mortuary science edu- cation. To be considered for a full award, students should have at least one term or semester remain- ing in his/her program. Students with less than a full term of study remain- ing will be considered for partial awards. In addition to these re- quirements, students must complete all forms and follow all procedures as outlined online at: https://bogatiurns.com/ scholarship/ . Students may apply for consideration once per calendar year.
