A retired funeral director, he owned and operated Guerriero Funeral Home and Memorials. A graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. BRUCE FRANCIS ROBINSON of Lynnfield, MA died August 4, 2022 at the age of 75. He was a licensed funeral director for forty years, having worked at Woodlawn Funeral Homes and Elliott Robbins Funeral Homes in Rhode Island and the Murphy Funeral Home in Massachusetts. Robinson retired in 2010. He graduated from the New England Institute of Anatomy and Sanitary Science in 1968. ROBERT JACKSON “BOB” SNYDER of Manning, SC died August 24, 2022 at the age of 89. He worked for the J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home prior to operating the Snyder Funeral Home for several years. Bob received his funeral directors’ licenses from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. Lyons Funeral Home, which he established in 1999. Lyons previously worked at the James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home. A 1983 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association and was president of the Delco Funeral Directors Association for several years. KEVIN M. LYONS of Glenolden, PA died August 15, 2022 at the age of 61. A licensed funeral director for over forty years, he owned and operated the Kevin M. A 1960 graduate of the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science, he was first elected coroner in 1973 and served seven consecutive terms. Bowling was awarded the highest rank through Kentucky Coroner’s Association as Master Coroner in 1995 and retired from Laurel County Corner after serving twenty-nine years. LEONARD EDWARD BOWLING of London, KY died August 18, 2022 at the age of 84. A funeral director and embalmer for over 60 years, he started working for his great uncle, D.B. House at the House Funeral Home in the early 60’s before partnering with R.C.Walker and Edd Smith to open Bowling-Walker Funeral Home in 1965. Bowling purchased sole ownership of the funeral home in the early 1970’s which still operates as the family business. A 1951 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. age of 73. He spent a year in Richmond working at the family business, Thurman Funeral Home. Upon receiving his funeral directors’ licenses from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, he re-joined his father in running the funeral home in 1975.
