Woods of North Carolina was the scholarship winner for the National Ladies Auxiliary. The National Ladies Auxiliary also held their annual scholarship raffle with the following winners: 1st Place - Vicky White of Texas - $100.00; 2nd Place - Ladies Auxiliary of Florida - $75.00; and 3rd Place - Edwin Ross of Texas - $50.00. National Ladies Auxiliary holds General Meeting The National Ladies Auxiliary held their general members meeting during the convention, where the membership voted to re-appoint the officers already in position another year. The officers are as follows: Barbara Washington, Texas, Chairman of the Board; Cheryl V. Anderson, North Carolina, President; Dr. Christal Whitfield, Alabama, Vice President; Cynthia Betts, North Carolina, Treasurer; Brenetta Lawrence, Florida, Financial Secretary; Jenae McKenzie, Texas, Recording Secretary; Valerie Kitchens, Florida, Parliamentarian; Darlene Rucker, Florida, Sergeant-atArms; Jessie Tuttle, Texas, Historian; and Tracey W. Alston, North Carolina, Chaplain. Each year the National Ladies Auxiliary participates in a service project during the convention. This year the project was in assisting Carol’s Community Activity “Rise Against Hunger” by completing 10,000 meals to be delivered to developing nations.
