They temporarily re- purposed their operation and were able to produce an extremely high-quality product. We didn’t want to be hospitals and last responders that need- ed it the most. Nearly identical situa- tions occurred between Afford- able Funeral Supply and an alcohol distillery that started producing sani- tizers and other textile factories that started pro- ducing various PPE prod- ucts. “When you’re speak- ing to customers all day telling you horror stories on ground zero of the pan- demic it is devastating to lis- ten to,” continued Heath- er. “It was absolutely gut wrenching to speak with some of my customers in New York in April and it is just as bad speaking to some of my customers in Texas right now.
