Nomis Publications and Boardman Printing show their Christmas Spirit YOUNGSTOWN,OH— Nomis Publications and Boardman Printing held its first office/cubicle of- fice decorating contest. Each employee was given a $10.00 gift card to get started and allowed 1 hour of work time for decorat- ing. Many employees put in personal time and even got help from family mem- bers to create some great designs. Themes included nostalgia featuring 1940s kitchen items, toys and tree ornaments, the Pea- nuts with a Charlie Brown tree, the outdoors complete with a deer and campfire, traditional trees and villag- es, our office Safety Man (a mannequin designed to ride in a car with females driving solo), and a funer- al director themed tree! Photos and videos posted on our Facebook pages re- ceived over 800 likes/votes to select the winners. Congratulations to Bran- di , Dana and Terri , for re- ceiving 1st, 2nd and 3rd place honors respectively. Honorable mentions went to Julie for the Most Clas- sic Christmas display and to Janet for the display which was Most Reflective of her Personality. Brandi received a day off with pay for her 1st place win. Readers may get a chuckle out of the tree in FHCNews Editor Peggy Rouzzo’s office which was decorat- ed with funeral industry re- lated ornaments and inci- dentals found in her office! Seen in many of the pho- tos is Peggy’s dog and office mascot Ping Pong . For the fourth year, the staff took part in the local YWCA’s Wish Upon A Star program, purchasing gifts for 10 children in need. For several weeks boxes were set up with each child’s wish list. The filled boxes were delivered in time for Christmas gift giving.
