We’re especially proud of our team’s dedication to helping us serve as the national leader in preneed funding for thousands of funeral professionals and the families they serve.” The Top Iowa Workplace award recognizes companies that demonstrate strong employee engagement, satisfaction and overall organizational health. COLUMBIA, SC— Mobi-Medical has issued a letter of concern to their dealers regarding an incident in which one of its Compact Low Profile Mortuary Lifts was involved in a fire reportedly related to an incorrectly positioned power cable that connects the battery to the motor. There were no reported injuries. Mobi Medical is unaware if this is an isolated event, but with an abundance of caution they are asking customers to reach out so that the unit can be examined and, if necessary, have the issue corrected. The model affected is the Crematory Battery Powered Low Profile Scissor Lift. If you have this model, contact the dealer where you purchased it or call Mobi Medical customer service at 1-800-577-4851. If your unit has the incorrect wiring position Mobi Medical will arrange the inspection and make necessary corrections to the product wiring at no cost. The notice advises customers to discontinue use of this product and disconnect the negative black cable from the battery until verification of the positioning is completed.
