Displayed in front of the flag was a battlefield cross sculpted in mahogany by veteran artist Alicia Dietz. Funeral home owners who wanted to discover the benefits a therapy dog could bring to their firm – and meet puppies-in-training – visited the Pause for Paws booth, sponsored by Ultimate Canine. 2022-23 NFDA President Jack Mitchell embraced the spirit of Las Vegas and welcomed convention attendees to the Welcome Party on the rooftop of Resorts World.
