Lechner Jr, “today the national cremation rate is over 60% - it only makes sense that a mortuary science program should include hands on cremation training.” “The ECC allows us to take the training from theory to practice,” said Lechner. “We deliver the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE) curriculum during Pet 400 Alkaline Hydrolysis Machine the first three of four semesters. The ABFSE curriculum sources the National Board Examination (NBE). At the end of our third semester, our students take the NBE. I believe that our first time pass rates for the NBE in 2023 Arts 85%, Science 77% (national average Arts 78%, Science 69%) speaks to the quality of our faculty and program. Students embalm over 500 remains per year in our 7-station embalming lab right on campus. Students are embalming starting in the second week of the program.” “You don’t have to live in Boston to go to Harvard.” Lechner continued. We draw our student population from all over the United States. We currently have 18 states represented in our student population, most of the transitory students live free of charge in local funeral homes and are employed part time. “They info@NomisPublications.com fax 1-800-321-9040 PO Box 5159 Youngstown, OH 44514 FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY News Attention class Officers and administrators Send us your news!
