The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) asks funeral service professionals interested in presenting an education session during its 2022 International Con- vention & Expo to submit proposals by December 31. The 2022 NFDA Convention will take place October 9-12, 2022, in Baltimore, MD. “NFDA prides itself on offering the best education in the funeral service profession, especially during our conven- tion,” said director of education Carmella Hansen. “Our Convention Education Task Force is looking for thought- provoking sessions that offer innovative and practical ideas that have tangible takeaways for attendees.” Proposals can be for one- or two-hour education ses- sions and should fall into at least one of eight topical ar- eas: business management and operations; cremation; customer service; grief and bereavement; compliance and legal; technical skills; technology; or preneed. Information about submitting a proposal and what the Convention Education Task Force looks for when re- viewing proposals can be found on the NFDA website, https://nfda.org/conferences/call-for-presentations. All proposals must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. CT on December 31. All proposers will be notified whether they have been selected will be notified via email byMarch 1, 2022.
