Keohane, co-president of Keohane Funeral Home in Quincy, MA has joined the Board of Directors as the Group 1 representative. Keohane’s grandfather Cor- nelius was very active in the organization, and his father Edward served as a former president of National Selected Morticians (NSM). In 2017 the firm celebrated 50 years of continuous membership. “As our communities begin to emerge from the pandem- ic, all businesses will face cru- cial challenges in the years to come. John helps families plan funeral services for loved ones, ensures business operations are being run smoothly, and keeps the compa- ny active in the community. Keohane is a graduate of Providence Col- lege and New England Institute at Mount Ida College, and in addition to Selected In- dependent Funeral Homes, he belongs to a number of organizations, including: Quincy Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, Mas- sachusetts Funeral Directors As- sociation, Quincy Chamber of Commerce, and South Shore Chamber of Commerce.
