Today at the helm is owner and fourth generation funeral director, Hall Davis, IV. He is a past president of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians, Inc and his wife, first lady Ce- cile Davis, has been a member of the 100 Black Women of Funeral Service since 1975. Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park Welcomes Kehilat Pardes as its 27 th Partner Congregation CLARKSBURG,MD— The Garden of Remembrance Gan Zikaron Memorial Park in Clarksburg, MD has announced that Kehilat Pardes – The Rock Creek Syna- gogue has become the 27th Partner Congregation of the Jewish community’s nonprofit community cemetery. A modern Orthodox Jewish community in Aspen Hill, MD led by Rabbi Uri Topolosky, Kehilat Pardes is housed within the Berman Hebrew Academy with whom they enjoy a special relationship. The Garden of Remembrance includes Partner Con- gregations from Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Re- constructionist, and Renewal synagogues and also serves those not affiliated with a congregation. Founded in 1999, Gan Zikaron has held nearly 2,100 burials, has sold thousands of burial sites in its 152 acre memorial park, and accommodates the wide range of religious ob- servances throughout the Jewish community.
