Eric Trimble of Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory in Moline, IL will serve as the President; and John Kepner of RaymerKepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC will serve as Board Chair. Eric has previously served Selected as Board Chair. He expressed his delight at the opportunity to fill the role of Board President. “I feel real honored,” said Eric. “It’s a high honor to serve an organization [of the] caliber of Selected. We have a real unique organization, and we have an opportunity to serve our members [to] become the best of the best. And it’s our challenge to continue that in the future. With the support of our members and a very great Board, it’s going to be a good year.” John is proud that Selected membership has been a long-standing legacy of his family. “It feels good [to be selected as Board Chair],” said John. “It’s been in my family for over 100 years. And it’s meant a lot to us. We’ve taken a lot from Selected as far as business practices and major friendships in my life, so it feels good.” Selected’s board of directors elected the new officers at its quarterly board meeting. The officers will be officially installed during the Annual Meeting, October 10-13 at the JW Marriott Chicago in Chicago, IL.
