Page A29 MAY 2021 FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY NEWS Se c t i on A News Educational ICCFA Educational Foundation awards 29 Scholarships to the 2021 ICCFA Virtual Convention & Exposition STERLING,VA— Continuing the tradi- tion of making educational opportuni- ties available to International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association’s (ICCFA) members, the ICCFA Educa- tional Foundation has announced that all 29 graduates of the 2019 ICCFA Univer- sity will receive full scholarships to join the online, interactive ICCFA Virtual Con- vention and Exposition which will take place May 17-21, 2021. When asked about the scholarships, Educational Foundation president Jim Price, CCFE, CCrE, commented, “With no barrier to entry this year due to a vir- tual format, our 2019 University gradu- ates will be able attend the ICCFA Virtual Convention and Expo to take inspiration from keynote speakers, join education- al sessions, visit with exhibitors to learn about products and services that have been born out of this time of COVID-19, and become part of online conversations, all from the safety and comfort of their home or office.” The Educational Foundation credits the ability to make these scholar- ships available to the generous support of their donors who continue to make it pos- sible for so many in the profession to fur- ther their education and elevate their abil- ity to serve families well.
