The graduates, their family and friends were welcomed to the formal cap and gown cere- mony by PIMS president Eugene C. Ogrodnik. The com- mencement address was delivered by Harry Readshaw who delivered an inspirational address entitled “Forecast.” Readshaw is a member of Pennsylvania House of Repre- sentatives serving District 36 in Allegheny County. He was first elected to the House in 1994. He graduated from PIMS and became a Pennsylvania licensed funeral director in 1965, thus becoming a third-generation funeral director and operator of a funeral home. The Funeral Service Oath was administered by Dr. Barry T. Lease, chief academic officer, and the graduating class was presented by Dr. Jo- seph A. Marsaglia, Dean of Faculty and Students.
