Lindley Promoted to Vice President of
Marketing by Flanner and Buchanan
Maureen Lindley
her husband and three sons.
Founded in 1881, Flanner
and Buchanan Funeral Cen-
ters is owned by
Bruce
and
Brian Buchanan.
The com-
pany now owns 16 event fa-
cilities throughout central
Indiana, seven of which are
combined with cemeter-
ies, as well as its crematory,
the Cremation Center of
Indiana. Many of the cen-
ters also host weddings, re-
unions, business retreats and
community events.

al Centers
announced that
Maureen Lindley
has been
promoted to vice president
of marketing for the compa-
ny, effective September 1st.
Lindley previously served
as director of marketing;
the title she’s held since July
2012. She joined the com-
pany in March 2009.
Lindley’s primary respon-
sibility at Flanner and Bu-
chanan is to build relation-
ships and educate people in
the community regarding
funeral and cemetery plan-
ning.
Originally from New Al-
bany, IN, Lindley graduated
from Ball State with an un-
dergraduate degree in Pub-
lic Relations and a Master’s
degree in corporate training
and development.
Prior to Flanner and Bu-
chanan, Lindley worked
for an international orga-
nization training leaders in
North and South America,
as well as Asia. Lindley also
worked in the health insur-
ance industry where she was
responsible for the training
needs of the customer ser-
vice call center and quality
control.
Lindley serves as a Board
member for Trusted Men-
tors and is on the steering
committee for We Honor
Veteran’s. Lindley has lived
in Carmel for 15 years with
