One Source Prime is the conduit for ½ or full semi-trailer orders of cremation products and burial caskets, which are available from six independent domes- tic manufacturing suppliers. One call to One Source Prime delivers multiple products on one truck to one location with one invoice. Recently, One Source Prime added these products to their unique program: • Four new stainless steel caskets from Astral Industries are now available. These new models are in addition to the 18- and 20-gauge carbon steel caskets which are al- ready part of the program. Each stainless steel model features high eye appeal, four point brush fin- ishes and velvet interiors. • Four new standard value-priced hardwood caskets have been in- troduced from Vision Casket. These caskets include wood em- bossing and Euro-styled interiors and are priced well under com- peting products. Each features a slightly oversized interior width, yet still fits in a 29” vault and are finished with environmentally-re- sponsible, water-based finishes. • Starmark Cremation Products’ new Transporter alternative crema- tion container system is now being offered. The Transporter system al- lows funeral directors to easily and economically upgrade a standard. • The new Bridgeview raised flat top solid wood alternative con- tainer viewer from Starmark has also been added. Use of the Brid- geview alternative container view- er facilitates a much lower price point to encourage informal (di- rect, immediate, simple or basic) cremation families to upgrade to semi-formal services with the body being present. • The new Ovation Oversize 31” solid wood alternative container viewer, is also now available. “We are very pleased with the ini- tial launch of One Source Prime and anticipate more indepen- dent, domestic manufacturers will join over time,” added Gerald H. Davis, president of One Source Prime. With the One Source Prime pro- gram, there are no up-front fees, memberships or contracts to sign; customers simply place their orders with a One Source Prime product specialist at 833-871-4677. The product specialist will then work with the funeral professional to help mix and match products that meet their needs at the lowest pos- sible price. The team is experienced at taking full advantage of the floor and cube space within a trailer to achieve maximum savings while helping ensure products arrive safe- ly and damage free. The company also announced that a new catalog is forthcoming as well as an update to the One Source Prime website, www.onesourceprime.us. One Source Prime Continues Sales Momentum Olympia Oak and Eden Select Hardwood Models Global Atlantic adds Preneed Business as Segment of Broader Life Organization NEWYORK,NY— Global Atlantic Fi- nancial Group announced it is moving its preneed business into the company’s mainstay life organization led by Dave Wilken, president of preneed life. This restructuring reaffirms the company’s commitment to the preneed industry with a unified approach to life insur- ance to better support Global Atlantic’s customers and long-term strategy. Kelly Milberger, as senior vice pres- ident and national sales manager, will lead the preneed segment of Global Atlantic’s life sales organization. Mil- berger, a well-known industry veteran, joined Global Atlantic last year after 15 years at Stewart Enterprises, where she was most recently vice president of sales effectiveness and built an organi- zation that consistently produced more than $35 million in sales annually. “Kelly is instrumental in helping to growGlobal Atlantic’s preneed business and maintain a leadership position in the industry,” said Wilken. “She will be working with our customers directly to help drive their success and ensure that we help funeral directors better meet the needs of the families they serve.” During her career, Milberger has held various sales and sales leadership po- sitions; she was a preneed representa- tive and early on worked in sales at pr- eneed-industry-pioneer Forethought Life Insurance Company, which was acquired by Global Atlantic in 2014. Forethought was later rebranded as Global Atlantic in 2016 as a cohesive approach to the marketplace. “As the preneed industry contin- ues to evolve, it is important that we develop a long-term strategy to help funeral homes and cemeteries build growing and resilient preneed pro- grams that foster revenue growth, raise awareness for their firms, and deepen relationships in their com- munities,” said Milberger. Effective the end of July, current pr- eneed president David Mullen will leave the company. “David has been instrumental in growing the business for Global Atlantic. I want to thank him for his contributions to the com- pany and wish him well on his new endeavors,” said Wilken. The preneed business reporting to Wilken and these organizational changes are a natural progression for Global Atlantic’s life business, and will be a great opportunity for the company and its customers.
