News Educational Bogati Urn Company’s Third Annual Scholarship Open for Applications SARASOTA,FL— As the world continues to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, the ongoing need for strong and smart funeral and crematory professionals is more apparent than ever. In a continued effort to do its part to support the industry in this area, the applica- tion process is now open for the third Annual Bogati Urn Company Scholarship Fund, which will provide funeral service or mortuary science program students with finan- cial awards ranging from $500 to $2,500 per school year. The first two years of offering this scholarship were met with success. A total of 42 students from 16 differ- ent funeral service or mor- tuary science programs in 12 states have applied, and 6 recipients have been awarded for a combined total of $7500. “This is now one of our favorite times of the year,” said Andrea Bogard LeB- lanc, Bogati Urns found- er. “Evaluating the Boga- ti Scholarship applicants offers us a glimpse of the brightest stars in our indus- try and allows us to reward those who shine the most.” To be eligible for consid- eration, applicants must be United States citizens who have already completed one or more terms of study in funeral service or mortuary science education.
