The ac- quisition expands Founda- tion Partners’ presence in Florida to 25 locations. “The acquisition of Char- lotte Memorial is an ex- cellent strategic fit for our Florida growth plans giv- en its reputation, excellent operating history, and lo- cation,” stated Bob Bu- kala, Foundation Part- ners Group president and CEO. “Rick Tuss and Mi- chael Fuller have created an outstanding culture of caring with a strong em- phasis on community in- volvement, and we are thrilled that they have cho- sen to join the Foundation Partners family.” Founded in 1959, Char- lotte Memorial was ac- quired byTuss and Fuller in 2012 and they immediate- ly invested in the business to fully repair the damage left over from Hurricane Charley in 2004. In addi- tion to adding a cremato- ry, the remodel modern- ized the public spaces to create the look and the feel of a boutique hotel.
