Patrick Range is the owner and operator of Range Funeral Homes in Miami, FL, which was founded by his parents, M. Athalie and Oscar L. Range, Sr., in 1960. A graduate of the New England Insti- tute of Mortuary Science, he is a member of the Ep- silon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity and serves on the advisory board of the Miami-Dade College De- partment of Funeral Ser- vice. Range was president of the National Funer- al Directors and Morticians Association and past president and member of the First Regional District of the Florida Morticians Association, Inc, which hon- ored him with the Mor- tician of the Year award in 2006. In 2010, he re- ceived the distinct honor of being named the Rob- ert H. Miller “Profes- sional of the Year” by his funeral service colleagues of the NFDMA.
