Equipped with state-of-the-art tech- nology, ample meeting space, conference dining fa- cilities, and well-appoint- ed guestrooms, the Emory Conference Center Hotel is an all-inclusive venue that will provide the perfect backdrop for learning from the best in the profession, connecting with colleagues from every area of the cem- etery, cremation and funer- al service profession, and making the lifetime friend- ships that are the hallmark of the ICCFA University experience. “The ICCFA Universi- ty spent many wonderful years in Memphis at the Fogelman Executive Cen- ter, but in order to meet the needs of our ever-increas- ing enrollment it became necessary that we find a new place to call home,” said ICCFAU Chancellor Jeff Kidwiler, CCE, CSE. “Emory offers more meet- ing and guestroom space, all conveniently located on the same property. The de- cision to leave Memphis was not an easy one, but the opportunity to grow the ICCFA University pro- gram while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of a college campus made Emory the clear choice.” While the venue has changed, the ICCFAU will still offer eight distinct col- lege programs to choose from, all taught by industry experts. Program details will be available in Spring 2020. In order to make this one-of-a-kind educational experience more accessible, the ICCFA Educational Foundation will be award- ing 100 scholarships to the 2020 ICCFAU.
