Their continued sup- port has meant so much to GMA as a company and it has meant the world to owner and operator David Pat- terson, who celebrated his 31st year in the commercial embalming and shipping portion of the profession. Pat- terson said that, “to look over my career and realize that we are doing business all over the world and a great portion of the folks are personal friends of mine makes me proud that I am in this profession.” Many things happened in 2019, which prompt- ed Patterson to take back the lead at the mortu- ary this December. GMA has announced their new toll-free number, 877- 930-1394. The old num- ber as many of you know was hacked several times during the latter part of 2019 and it took the phone company several months to track down how this hap- pened. The new number went into effect December 1st and is answered 24/7 by the GMA staff. Patterson is stepping back as owner and operations manager because their current ops manager is open- ing a transportation company in the Southern part of Texas. GMA wishes him the best of luck and a pros- perous business. GMA has changed their comput- er program to better meet the needs of their clients making receiving and dispatching death calls simpler and more efficient as they move forward. All the changes GMA is doing are to improve their service for their valued clientele and they rec- ognize that without you and your firms trust, their firm would not exist. Even with the changes and the problems they have encountered and solved for the New Year they are proud that their clients stayed the course with them and helped them improve their ser- vice.
