MKJ Marketing will be con- ducting their two most popular semi- nars in February and March of 2021. The chosen hotels are committed to enhanced levels of cleanliness in an effort to ensure safety and wellbeing of guests. Every year, funeral home and cemetery professionals look for- ward to MKJ Marketing seminars, knowing they will address the most pressing issues the industry is fac- ing, while offering accommodations in locations that foster imagination, collaboration, and inspiration. 2021 will be no exception. MKJ’s 2021 Ski Summit will be held at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa. Attendees will enjoy ski-in and ski-out accommodations right in the heart of Beaver Creek Village. The resort has been recent- ly remodeled, and the meeting room will be very large relative to the at- tendance to allow for social distanc- ing. The dates are February 22-24, 2021, prime time for skiing weath- er. Registrants will benefit from the drastically reduced room rate at the Park Hyatt that MKJ has negotiated. The format will be a combination of seminar sessions with study group participation. Courtney Gould Miller, Esq., CSO of MKJ Market- ing, will present on email marketing and how it can be used effectively by funeral homes, cremation busi- nesses, and cemeteries for at-need and pre-need lead cultivation. Isaac Miller, Esq., COO of MKJ Market- ing, will present on the latest in le- gal and operational considerations, particularly around online obituaries and rising cremation. MKJ’s 2021 Sea Summit will be held at the popular Ritz-Carlton on Naples Beach in Florida, the flagship of the Ritz-Carlton brand. While the March 15-17, 2021 event will be packed with relevant content, there will be down time for guests to indulge in sea-inspired spa treat- ments, enjoy the freshest Gulf sea- food, play a few rounds of champi- onship golf, or just relax on the three miles of pristine Florida beachfront. Those who attend will be pleasant- ly surprised to find MKJ’s negotiated nightly cost is just a third of the nor- mal accommodation rate. The featured speaker at the Sea Summit will be Stephen Shapiro, a recognized national speaker and author. Stephen’s high-energy ap- proach to innovation will get at- tendees out of their seat and into new ways of thinking about their business challenges. Glenn Gould, CEO of MKJ Marketing will pres- ent strategies for post COVID mar- keting and a special section on mar- keting strategies for small volume firms. Marilyn Jones Gould, presi- dent of MKJ Marketing, will present constructive new ways to increase averages and improve communica- tion with families using everything from virtual arrangements on Zoom to live chat. Courtney Gould Mill- er and Isaac Miller will also lead ses- sions on the same topics as the Ski Summit. Something new for 2021, the Sea Summit and all of its excit- ing content will be available virtual- ly in addition to being an in-person seminar. A special E-Commerce Master- mind session on cremation website marketing will follow the Sea Sum- mit in Naples on March 18, 2021. This is a highly exclusive opportuni- ty only for those who have a crema- tion e-commerce website (or plan to launch one in 2021) to gather with other providers and industry profes- sionals to share best practices. Con- tact MKJ Marketing for additional information on Mastermind partici- pation and membership. Attendance to the Summit is not required to at- tend the Mastermind. As always, both summits will be submitted for approval of continu- ing education credits.
